“I am categorically against the introduction of any innovations that may lead to an increase in prices for the consumer. For me, this is unacceptable. Therefore, in this case - the Ministry of Energy is currently working on it - we are analyzing. We can not allow price increases for people, ”he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
According to him, the issue of postponing the launch of the market is in the competence of the parliament, which approved the relevant law.
In July 2019, Ukraine is scheduled to launch a new model of the wholesale electricity market. It involves the transition to a full-scale competitive market.
