The Houthi governor, Dr. Hassan Taher, said that the Houthi militia coup carried out a new play in Hodeidah on the west coast of Yemen, handing over the three ports (Hodeidah, Salih and Ras Issa) for themselves, without international supervision or the government side,

Taher added in statements to «AFP»: «This unilateral step contrary to the agreement, and bear the United Nations, led by its envoy in Yemen, Martin Griffith, responsibility».

"Griffith wants to achieve victory even if the Houthis surrender the ports to themselves, but this is completely rejected by us, and must implement all the terms of the agreement, especially with regard to the identity of the forces that will receive ports from the Huthis."
