He added: "The project includes the implementation of a tunnel on Khawaneej Road consisting of three lanes in each direction, a light-illuminated road junction to secure free and safe traffic on Khawaneej Road, the development of the roundabout at the intersection of Al Khawaneej Road with Al-Omradi Street, Between Al-Amredi Street and Emirates Road, and the establishment of a bridge over the Emirates Road towards Al-Aweer area with a capacity of two tracks in each direction, in addition to the construction of a pedestrian crossing bridge near the Arab Center on Khawaneej Street ». The project also includes paving 23 kilometers of service roads along Al-Khawaneej and Al-Amrdi Streets, and implementing some improvements on three intersections on Algiers Street by converting them into light-managed intersections, as well as project related works such as lighting, rainwater drainage, road signs, road planning and work Safeguards for road safety.
