He stated this in a video message, which he published on his Facebook page.

According to him, this is done so that he could not dissolve the Verkhovna Rada in the terms established by law.

“The CEC delays the official announcement of the results. Why? So that the Verkhovna Rada could delay the date of appointment of the inauguration, so that it takes place after May 27. Why? So that President Zelensky could not even think about the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada, ”he said.

Zelensky at the same time noted that the president, who was supported by 73% of voters, had the right to think about this possibility.

“The system is afraid,” he added.

Earlier, the Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko said that in the event of the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada, a long-lasting political crisis and a pause in relations with partners would come.

In April, one of the founders of the Ukrainian party Opposition Platform For Life, Yuriy Boyko, called for the dissolution of the Rada immediately after the presidential election.
