This was stated by the US Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Andrea Thompson.

According to RIA Novosti, Thompson noted that Russia must "either get rid of the system, or change" it, "so that it does not exceed the (forbidden) range."

She noted that "this should be verifiable."

Earlier, US Ambassador to Russia John Huntsman said that Washington does not see in Moscow a reliable partner in the Treaty on the Elimination of Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles.
