In the UK, a leak in the press about Theresa May's decision to let Huawei take part in the deployment of the 5G makes a lot of noise. Furious, the government decided to launch an investigation to find out who transmitted this sensitive information.

The controversy is raging in Westminster, not only about the Chinese telecom giant Huawei but also the author of a leak of confidential information. Who could have, after a meeting of the National Security Council, divulge an ultra-sensitive decision?

According to the Daily Telegraph , five of the ministers present disagreed with Prime Minister Theresa May's decision to give Huawei a limited role in the deployment of 5G. Huawei is indeed suspected by the United States of espionage on behalf of Beijing, and several reports and government services have raised risks to national security.

Since then, the five ministers in the crosshairs, including Finance and Foreign Affairs, have hastened to deny that they were behind the leak, but the incident provoked a real storm when all the participants in these security meetings have a duty confidentiality.

The government promises to push its investigation far and could involve the police to unmask the perpetrator. A government shocked by the growing lack of discipline of its ministers in a country in the midst of a crisis in the Brexit impasse.

Theresa May's position of extreme weakness stirs up greed and several ministers are looking to step forward to succeed her, the day so far away, where she will leave Downing Street.
