In a statement by a politician published by the press service of the party, it is said that such a decision, which is an “emergency event”, is a “real shock” for Ukrainians.
“Poroshenko gave the command to raise the price of gas by 23.5%. This is almost another quarter. And this decision Poroshenko was executed, "- she said.
According to her, this is “another catastrophe”, which “pushes Ukrainians into a niche of poverty, from which it will be very difficult to get out.”
She also explained why there was a price increase.
“Because the best deposits of Ukraine have already been dismantled by Poroshenko’s corrupt environment. And in the seven months that remained until the completion of their power, they, extracting gas from our own Ukrainian fields, want to put back billions in their offshore accounts. At the expense of every Ukrainian family, ”said Tymoshenko.
She called on deputies of all levels to demand that the country's leadership “immediately cancel” this decision, which, in her opinion, is a crime against people.
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the increase in gas prices for Ukrainian citizens from November 1.
