Waleed, the brother of detained Saudi activist Jain al-Hathloul, said the trial of his sister had ended and that he would give details of the proceedings "if conditions permit."

He said in a tweet that he will speak in Congress today about the brutal torture and sexual harassment of his sister in prison, and will be in the presence of the media and a number of senators.

He pointed out that Ahmed (the son of Walid Fetihi, the Saudi American doctor detained in Saudi prisons) will also be present at the session, which will be entitled "Torture in the Kingdom."

On Wednesday, the Saudi judicial authorities postponed the trial of female women's rights activists to March 27.

According to human rights sources, the prosecution has been accused of activating activists to communicate with hostile media outlets, providing financial support to foreign enemies, and recruiting people to obtain information that harms the interests of the Kingdom.

After the Criminal Court in Riyadh reviewed the charges against the activists, they did not allow any of them to speak or respond. The judges heard that those charges had been acknowledged and signed, and the hearing was adjourned.
