After the boycott of the "conclave" (the meeting of the various parties of the coalition) on February 20 by five member parties, these last ten days, ten parties suspended their participation or left the C14. A blow to the opposition coalition that was born in the wake of mass demonstrations demanding the departure of President Faure Gnassingbe in August 2017.

After 18 months of existence, the C14 coalition is undermined by internal dissension. CAR, Togo Otherwise, PNP, ANC Togolese Party, Health of the people ... In total, six parties have suspended their participation or left the ship in the last ten days.

Deficiency of trust, problem of political line, lack of transparency ... The list of dysfunctions within the opposition coalition is long.

" We spent more time to deal with cohesion than the rest, " lamented the framework of a party that just slammed the door.
