“All this is illegal, starting with the detention itself, of keeping the ship and crew in Ukraine, which still cannot leave the country, because the authorities make them provocative demands to recognize themselves as citizens of Ukraine, and not Russia. And this last act related to the confiscation of the ship also violates the law, ”the deputy said.
Zatulin also noted that the withdrawal of the Russian vessel requires a response.
“These actions deserve a response. Many believe that it can become mirror, the same actions on our part for, say, the withdrawal of Ukrainian boats in the Sea of Azov. Physically, this can be done, but for the Ukrainian authorities, the problems that their policies create for citizens have absolutely no significance, ”he concluded.
