“The document to the British side indicated a clear violation by London of international law and the refusal of Russia in its legal right to receive full information about Russian citizens, who still remain in isolation under the full control of the British authorities,” RIA Novosti reports.

Diplomats reminded the British side of its refusal to Russia’s proposals for cooperation, including the General Prosecutor’s Office’s request for legal assistance in a criminal case.

As noted, in the "almost nine months after the incident in Salisbury, the embassy sent several dozen notes and letters" to the British departments.

"Russia will continue to demand from the British authorities to provide comprehensive information about the incident, to provide consular access to Russian citizens and, finally, to begin a joint open investigation with the participation of our representatives," the report underlines.

Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia stated that they had not received a single request to investigate the “Skripale case”.

At the same time, in early October, it became known that the ministry had received a formal refusal from the UK in relation to rendering assistance in this case.
