Earlier, Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said that the head of the country, Gheorghe Ivanov, intends to support the treaty with Greece to rename the former Yugoslav republic if the residents of the country vote for it in a referendum.

The employee of the Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Historical Sciences Artem Ulunian, in an interview with the National Council of War, noted that the renaming of Macedonia opens the way to the EU for her.
