It is noted that at the present time, registration of a person’s birth or death is made either at the centers of public services (MFC) or at the civil registry offices.
In August 2018, it was reported that Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree according to which it is allowed to use a simple electronic signature to file applications for the provision of public services in electronic form.
