The Foreign Ministry called the topics of the meeting between Lavrov and the President of Austria

The negotiations took place in the framework of the 62nd session of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs.

“Topical issues of the bilateral agenda were discussed, including the implementation of the agreement of the presidents of Russia and Austria on the establishment of the Sochi Dialogue Public Forum. Separate international topics are also touched upon, ”the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

According to Van der Bellen, politicians also discussed the situation in Ukraine and the political crisis in Venezuela.

Earlier, the head of the Austrian Foreign Ministry Karin Kneisl said that Austria intends to develop relations with Russia in terms of sanctions.
