“Such things will only become more active, because the election process has begun. But in Ukraine, the judicial system has always been used to gain advantage in corporate and political conflicts. This is used to create informational occasions that compromise an individual because an official has become too toxic for the president or the prime minister, ”the expert believes.
According to him, this kind of judicial procedure for Ukraine is standard.
“Poroshenko understands perfectly well that he will never have a more obedient attorney general. Although, as soon as the presidency collapses, Lutsenko will immediately try to run to the other side. But, nevertheless, until the last moment will remain faithful. So, this is all a standard procedure, ”Ischenko said.
Earlier, the court ordered NABU to launch an investigation against Lutsenko on suspicion of corruption.
