According to statements by Venezuelan opposition leaders, the delivery of humanitarian aid to Venezuela will begin on February 23. As noted, they will be carried out in three collection points: the Colombian Cukuta, the Brazilian state of Roraima and the island of Curaçao.

According to Kalashnikov, in this way the United States wants to provoke Maduro to take active steps.

“Maduro has already announced that there is a threat that this will be the supply of weapons to the opposition, so the army lined up at the border. Thus, he hopes to counteract the emergence of this humanitarian aid, ”the expert noted.

He added that the Americans are playing a kind of game, using the supply of humanitarian aid for their own purposes.

"When they reject the declared humanitarian aid, it always causes a corresponding public reaction: the regime does not want to alleviate the situation of the population," Kalashnikov concluded.

Earlier, as reported by the strategic operational command of the Venezuelan Armed Forces, the authorities ordered the deployment of troops on the border with Colombia.
