The Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held talks in the Rwandan capital with President Paul Kagame on bilateral relations and means of developing them and the importance of developing the African continent.

The two sides signed an agreement in the airspace, two memorandums of understanding for cooperation in sports and culture, and a memorandum of cooperation in the field of tourism and business activities.

Earlier, Sheikh Tamim arrived in Kigali for a three-day state visit aimed at encouraging and protecting mutual investments with Rwanda, one of the fastest growing African countries, as well as economic, trade and technical cooperation.
