The embassy checks the reports of the detention of Russians in Haiti

“The embassy is checking information about the presence of one of the detainees of Russian citizenship,” the embassy told RIA Novosti.

As noted, preliminary information that there are no Russians among the detainees requires verification.

Earlier it was reported that the police in Haiti detained a group of foreigners, including a Russian citizen, who are accused of creating a criminal community and illegal possession of weapons.
