“They made such a decision that starting May 1, Yaromchuk will go under house arrest,” the lawyer accused TASS quoted.

At the same time, he clarified that if the prosecutor’s office appeals a court ruling, the decision will be made by the Supreme Court of Bashkiria.

According to Bagautdinov, the investigation did not provide sufficient evidence that the accused could flee or put pressure on witnesses.

“The judge indicated that the investigation is taking 6 months, it is basically over, now there is no one to put pressure on, essentially,” the lawyer explained.

In late February, in Ufa, the arrest was extended to April 30 by former police officer Pavel Yaromchuk and Salavat Galiyev.
