The cost of overclocking clouds for the holidays of 2019 has become known.

It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the information on the portal of public procurement.

According to the agency, the city authorities hold an open competition to disperse the clouds for the holidays on May 1 and 9, the Day of Russia and the City Day in 2019. The initial (maximum) value of the contract is 410.566 million rubles.

"The number of planned aircraft: ten aircraft with a flight duration of at least 4 hours ... Requirements for the quality characteristics of services: improvement of weather conditions in the city of Moscow as an exception or reduction of precipitation," the text of the technical specification says.

It is noted that the source of financing is the budget of Moscow, and the customer of the work is the GKU “Ekspertavtodor”.

It is expected that the supplier of servants will be determined in mid-December.

According to the agency, in 2018 these works were performed by the autonomous non-profit organization “Agency of Atmospheric Technologies” (Agency ATTEX) during these holidays. The contract was concluded for 400.363 million rubles, the dispersal of clouds on each holiday cost about 100 million rubles.

In August 2017, NSN reported that the Moscow authorities planned to allocate up to 200 million rubles to disperse the clouds on the City Day on September 9–10, as well as during the parade of delegations of the World Festival of Youth and Students on October 14.
