According to the minister, Austria considers it unacceptable to take back the mercenaries who went to fight on the side of the militants.

“Protecting one’s own population is paramount. Therefore, it is unacceptable to take these “ticking time bombs” (mercenaries - RT ) back to Austria, ”he added.

Earlier, the American leader Donald Trump called on the EU countries to "take back" more than 800 militants of the terrorist group "Islamic State" and bring them to justice. He noted that otherwise the United States would release the terrorists, after which they could return to Europe.
