Brigadier General Hossein Salami, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, said that his country has passed the military threat stage and is capable of confronting any attack against it, stressing that Tehran is strong and capable of closing all land, sea and air ports in the face of enemies.

In a speech in Tehran on Sunday, Salami said that Washington's policies had failed in the region, and its influence was easing.

The deputy commander of the Revolutionary Guard that Washington is imposing economic and psychological war on Tehran, pointing out that his country will emerge victorious from this war.

He said that Washington has reached its economic and military demise, pointing out that it has spent seven hundred billion dollars in Iraq and Syria without a result, and began to lose influence in the region, and that despite these defeats, it focuses today on the Iranian people and impose an economic and psychological war.

Salami reiterated that the Iranian people would defeat the United States. "America believes that the Iranian people will surrender under their pressure, but I promise you that the more pressure we have, the less they will lose," he said.

Two days ago, Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari, commander-in-chief of the Revolutionary Guards, said no country had the courage today to talk about a military option against Iran, due to the power it had acquired.

There is no superpower capable of attacking Iran because, according to Jafari, he knows the consequences of any confrontation with it. He explained that there has been a decline in the strength of the United States in the last four decades.

Jafari referred to what he called an increase in the capabilities of his country in return for the decline of American power, stressing that Tehran is currently facing an economic war imposed by the "enemies".
