Earlier, NATO said that they recognize the desire of Ukraine to join the alliance and urge the Ukrainian side to continue reforms.
As noted by the Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko, only membership in the EU and NATO can guarantee Ukraine independence and security.
February 19 Poroshenko signed a law on amending the Constitution, enshrining a policy of joining the EU and NATO.
