According to RIA Novosti, the bill amends article 31 of the federal law On the Basics of the Protection of Citizens' Health in the Russian Federation.

"In the event of a situation requiring first aid with the use of automatic external defibrillators, such assistance can be provided to an unlimited number of people," the text of the document says.

The draft law was submitted to the lower house of parliament in the spring of 2018.

In February 2018, it was reported that the Ministry of Health intends to resolve the issue of placing defibrillators in public places.
