Sri Lanka's capital, Colombo, has suffered an explosion in the city after an explosion occurred today, police said.

"There is no casualty and we are investigating," said a local police spokesman, Rwan Guna Sekera, who said the explosion occurred in a public space behind the court in Fogo District, about 40 kilometers east of Colombo.

He explained that the explosion was not a controlled explosion by the bomb squad.

In Sri Lanka, at the same time, there were simultaneous explosions in eight places including hotels and churches, and 359 people have been killed so far.

The Sri Lankan government has named the local extremist Islamic organization NTJ (National Tauhit Zamart) and JMI (Zamia Tummilla To Ibrahim) as the backbone of the terrorist attacks, and the Islamic state of Sunni extremist organization has laid the groundwork behind it.
