This weekend of October 13 and 14, the Republicans participated in the internal vote for the election of the president of the federation and the constituency delegates of Finistère. Senator Philippe Paul was elected President in the first round.

Philipppe Paul, senator and former mayor of Douarnenez, replaces the outgoing president, Maël de Calan, as president of the federation Les Républicains du Finistère.

Maël de Calan does not represent himself, Philippe Paul was the only candidate. He relies on his stature as a senator to bring together those who, like Maël de Calan, do not find themselves in the line of Laurent Wauquiez, president of the party.
