The young demonstrators had other demands, Actu.fr reports: the increase of the budget of the National Education, the reduction of the number of pupils per class, the end of Parcoursup, the increase of the stock exchanges and the suppression of the increase in university tuition fees for foreign students.

The event was marked by moments of tension. Yellow vests joined the movement to "escort the procession".

Thrown by projectile jets, the police had to use tear gas bombs several times to disperse the movement.
