“In general, we are now deploying a new generation of Glonass-Glonass K2 spacecraft. The subject of pride here is that this device will consist entirely of Russian components. That is, we are completely switching to Russian microelectronics, ”Rogozin explained, noting that currently the country is in the process of revising the federal space program.
In addition, he spoke about Russia's leadership in the production of rocket engines.
“We still consider ourselves, I hope we are not mistaken, world leaders in the production of rocket engines. You see (on the slide. - RT ) the engine RD-180. It comes in the USA and is used on Atlas class missiles ... The advantage of these engines is that we have 85 successful, trouble-free launches, that is, excellent job statistics, ”he concluded.
Earlier, Rogozin said that Russia could create custom modules for other countries, which would expand the International Space Station.
