Castle La Folie-Guillemot, abandoned for thirteen years, in Rennes, will finally be renovated. The construction started. It will be transformed into a residence of luxury apartments.

Château La Folie-Guillemot, formerly owned by Alfred Guillemot, founder of the Nouvelles Galeries de Rennes, has been abandoned for thirteen years. This emblematic building of Rennes architecture from the beginning of the 20th century stands out in the middle of a district of contemporary buildings, avenue du Général-Leclerc, next to the Guillaume-Régnier hospital, in the Beaulieu district.

Within a year, the building will house 23 luxury apartments, from studio to T4. A renovation project initiated by the company Conserto, Parisian company specialized in the old real estate, and carried by the Atelier Monchecourt @ Co. "One of the apartments will have a spacious terrace of almost 30 m², others balconies with unobstructed views of the plain of Baud," says Conserto.

The sale of the apartments was entrusted to the Parisian firm Kacius, another company specializing in the restored former and also directed the founders of Conserto, Son and Lân Descolonges. The price ? About € 440,000 for a duplex T4, € 353,000 for a T2, says Kacius.
