Once again, the poster is eclectic, from Thursday, December 6, in fourteen bars and venues in Rennes. Some tracks to follow.

The festival Bars in Trans, is held in fourteen bars and places Rennes, from December 6 to 9.

World music

They had little place in the Bars en Trans. This year, the music of the world has a dedicated place during the three days (House of associations, Allied courses).

With this Thursday, a zoom on three Breton groups that favor crossbreeding; Friday, the Arabian electro-trance of the Syrian Wael Alkak; and Saturday, Inuit pop-folk and urban poetry.

Urban music

Big hip hop party, Saturday (1988 Live Club), with a dozen projects, especially for young people in need of discoveries.

A tour of France

We start with the Pays de la Loire, with four groups at Ty Anna, this Thursday. We go back to Normandy, with the choice of Cargo, Saturday, at the same place. We continue north, with a selection especially Lille, Friday, at the 1988 Live Club. We "zoom on the Great East" on Friday at the Cafe des Champs Libres. And we go down south, Friday, again at Ty Anna, with three artists or groups from Marseille.

Quebec is hot

The Montreal scene also gives in the Afro-techno, this Thursday at La Contrescarpe. It is complemented by Petit Piment , a Parisian DJ, between Brazilian and African inspirations.

Some "old"

First Henri Padovani, police punk security in their infancy, before joining other groups. The guitarist continues to summon today the punk spirit, instrumental, with The Flying Padovani's (Thursday, Mondo Bizarro).

The Married Monk (Saturday, conservatory chapel), a precious group of inventive pop born in the early 1990s, in Rennes, returned after ten years of silence.

And Daran (Friday, Mondo Bizarro), exiled today in Montreal, invested in many projects since the 1990s (including Johnny), between song and rock.

And a creation ...

Supported by a collective of festivals, the meeting of six producers and beatmakers, influenced by black music, at the 1988 Live Club, Friday. And it's called Gangue.
