On the occasion of the current session, Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Mahmoud, Chairman of the Qatari Shura Council, referred to the great international satisfaction with Doha hosting the international parliament. In this context, Al-Mahmoud stressed that the Qatari Shura Council will benefit greatly from the meetings, as it will learn about the experiences of most participating countries. Qatar will also have a presence in all the committees participating in the meetings, a role in the discussions within these committees, In an attempt to reconcile the countries in the event of disagreement on any of the topics raised.
