Putin appointed Russia's plenipotentiary under the CSTO

“To appoint ambassador on special assignments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Andrei Vladimirovich Shvedov as permanent and authorized representative to the Collective Security Treaty Organization,” the text says.

The decree is inferior from the date of its signing, February 21.

In late December, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko signed a draft decision of the Collective Security Council on the appointment of Stanislav Zasya as Secretary General of the CSTO.
