The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah has witnessed a remarkable turnout of young girls and young people in the establishment of commercial projects, within the program "licenses of tomorrow," enabling them to engage in the market and compete with existing trading companies. Since the launch of the program last year, the Department issued 303 licenses, The following: 226 girls' licenses and 37 youth licenses.

Al Suwaidi said that the success rate of the "Tomorrow's licenses" projects in the emirate reached 75%, pointing to the contribution of the program to the development of many projects of citizens and converting them from domestic to commercial licenses.

The "Tomorrow's License" aims to give citizens of both sexes the opportunity to enter the business field. And reduce expenses on the licensee because the license does not require a special place to conduct the activity, but the license holder can work from home, and it helps to limit the exercise of individuals or persons for any business without a license.

The target group for tomorrow's license includes housewives, new graduates, the unemployed, the elderly, those with an interest.

Al-Suwaidi said that last year the department transferred a number of licenses to the commercial sector and canceled a number of others because their employees stopped working completely after receiving jobs in government and private institutions.

"Meal projects, especially heritage, are in line with the desire of many girls to engage in calculated or safe business outcomes, that is, capital-intensive projects where loss is not a major problem. They do not seek quick profit, as do young people. So they give their projects inspired by the old kitchen, what time it takes to grow up and grow up quietly and cautiously ».

She pointed out that the Department has reduced the value of annual fees for tomorrow's licenses from 1200 dirhams to 1,000 dirhams. The fee for renewing the licenses for the day has also been reduced from AED 1,000 to AED 800 to encourage young citizens to take up the program, develop their business activities and start their own projects. She added that the Department provides a number of services accompanying the license, such as holding annual exhibitions for tomorrow's license holders, providing educational courses, as well as incubating, developing and following up projects to enhance the efforts of young people to establish their projects and enable them to rely on themselves to develop them. Take advantage of these services and initiate their own businesses.

Al Suwaidi said that the department has issued two licenses for two young people who are interested in the licenses of tomorrow. The first works in the field of producing and selling cosmetics and the second in the management of marketing operations and photography, pointing to the breadth of opportunities that can be made available to young people of concern. She added that the Department has started to issue commercial licenses within the "virtual trader" for UAE nationals and citizens of the GCC countries.

This type of license relates to the sale through websites and social networking accounts. In order to issue a virtual merchant license, the department requires that the activity of e-business be restricted.

She explained that the Department has identified certain activities of the license of the virtual trader, most notably the design of electronic programs and selling online.
