Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization for Acting Human Resources Development, Fatima Al-Houti, affirmed that the participation of students in the "Localization 360" forum is added to their CVs as part of the required expertise by the recruitment agencies. Including vocational guidance, training, awareness and motivation, entrepreneurship program, and then meet successful cadres in the private sector, as well as participate in the program «Jahni», and at the end of the forum the student receives a certificate of participation, giving him priority in employment.

The conference was organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation under the patronage of the Education and Human Resources Council, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.

Al-Houti said that "the ministry is seeking to study mandatory field training for university and secondary students, in cooperation with the competent authorities, as vocational training is one of the important factors for work after completion of the study."

The forum is scheduled to last for three days. On its first day, it witnessed the participation of 1000 citizens and citizens of university students.

Al-Hawati added that the Student Forum (Tawteen 360) is part of the National Career Guidance and Guidance Program which was launched by the Ministry as part of the Emiratization Policy and Programs Program. It aims to educate students and youth about the importance of working in the private sector, And empowering them to employ them in this important strategic sector, as well as highlighting the most important initiatives and programs of national institutions that promote the objectives of the National Agenda for Emiratization and awareness, provided by the pilot project centers of facilities and facilities for young citizens.

She pointed out that the forum is a platform that enables students to make the right decisions in choosing the professions and disciplines required in the private sector, based on data and factual information.

She explained that the first day of the forum included 28 training workshops, and seven sessions of awareness and motivation, with the participation of seven speakers, and 27 trainers from private sector institutions.

At the beginning of their registration, the students received a small booklet (Student Passport), which includes the introductory steps and guidelines for the six stages they will participate in the forum, as well as a participation card.

The students were able to identify and define their careers through their participation in vocational guidance workshops, through which they learned about their professional orientation through self-assessment and virtual counseling sessions with the participation of academic advisors at the Capacity Discovery Station.

The students also participated in the Training and Entrepreneurship Training Center, which aimed to consolidate and enhance the skills of the labor market, self-employment and self-employment.

The activities of the forum included a number of awareness and motivation sessions, which briefed students on the experiences of entrepreneurs from small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the experiences of citizens working in the private sector who have proven their competence and job excellence.

The awareness and motivation sessions also reviewed the characteristics of the work in the strategic sectors, in order to provide students with knowledge of future jobs, as well as informing them of global and regional experiences through presentations by leading companies in these fields.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation reviewed the application of Jahni, which is one of the initiatives launched by the Ministry in support of its strategy and aims to motivate and encourage national students to work in private sector institutions.

Participants' demands

Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation for Acting Human Resources Fatima Al-Houti said that the feedback from students about the participants in the activities of the Student Forum for Settling 360 resulted in several demands for them, most notably their need to become more familiar with the space sector, And reduce the period of time for presentation of working papers during the forum, noting that the forum includes 30 workshops on entrepreneurship.
