According to him, the ratification of the treaty on friendship and cooperation with Syria by the Abkhaz parliament is quite an important event.

According to him, the most important areas for cooperation with Damascus are "issues related to the theme of building the economy, which will be important for both Syria and Abkhazia."
“These are the issues of building work to establish communications, which will then strengthen these economic relations. This is a transport component, in particular, related to maritime traffic, issues related to the theme of the agricultural sector, education issues, ”he said.
He also said that both countries would be interested in cooperation in the fields of medicine and tourism.
Earlier, members of the Abkhaz parliament unanimously voted to ratify the treaty on friendship and cooperation with Syria.
