He stressed that this law is not directed against the languages ​​existing in the country, but to the protection of the Ukrainian language.

Earlier, Poroshenko compared the Rada’s law on the exclusivity of the Ukrainian language with “restoring the army and getting autocephaly”.

On April 25, the Parliament of Ukraine adopted a law on the obligatory use of the Ukrainian language in government and local government bodies, in educational institutions and hospitals of the country.
