How far will Rodrigo Duterte go? After boasting that he personally killed and joked about the rape, this is the Filipino head of state who this time said that during his teenage years, he had been sleeping with his servant.

The president then turned to the Catholic Church, his favorite target, accusing the priest to whom he had confessed the aggression to have him in turn touched.

As always, the presidential spokesman downplayed, saying that this was a " laughable anecdote " and that the head of state had spiced up his story to " draw attention " to the sexual assaults suffered in Catholic institutions.

In a male-dominated Congress dominated by presidential allies, the feminist party Gabriella called for the president's resignation in favor of rape.

Paradoxically, if some of the opinion favorable to Rodrigo Duterte is so accustomed to his remarks, the other seems more and more opposite. Result: in the polls, despite the decline recorded since coming to power, on the eve of this latest output, the presidential popularity rating still exceeded 60%.
