Nebenzia commented on a draft resolution on Venezuela proposed by the United States.

“Finally, we have reached the culmination of the American performance of double standards in Venezuela,” he quotes TASS.

According to the diplomat, the document is needed only for further accusations of preventing the importation of humanitarian aid into Venezuela.

"The United States is well aware that it (the resolution. - RT ) has no chance of being adopted," Nebsenya added.

Earlier it became known that Russia and the People's Republic of China put a veto on the draft resolution of the USA on Venezuela in the UN Security Council.

As noted, the United States in the draft resolution calls for new presidential elections in Venezuela under international supervision.
