The number could reach up to several hundred letters per day, partly with threats of violence. "The latter has long been no longer anonymous and increasingly aggressive," said the Central Council. If threatened with violence, state protection would be activated.

For months ongoing series of threats of violence

For several weeks, according to media reports, nationwide threats of violence against politicians, other public figures, associations, institutions or authorities. It concerns more than 100 sent emails, which were signed with "national socialist offensive", "NSU 2.0" or "Wehrmacht", reported the "south German newspaper" and the NDR.
