“The United States constantly manipulates visa procedures, hindering Russia's normal participation in the activities of the World Organization, although it pledged to provide all states with full-fledged opportunities for this,” the report states.
The department, in particular, indicated that Washington was unfairly fulfilling its obligations as a location for the UN headquarters in New York.
“This time we are talking about the non-issuance of an entry visa to the head of one of the research institutes of the Ministry of Defense of Russia to Poklonsky,” the commentary says.
The Foreign Ministry recalled that just a month ago, Washington similarly refused to issue a visa to the head of the Russian delegation at a meeting of the UN Disarmament Commission.
