He pointed out that Russian border guards are responsible for providing security in the Azov-Kerch Basin.

Earlier, Karasin noted that the West specifically creates a stir around the situation in the Sea of Azov.
He also stated that Russia does not plan to increase military might in the region in response to Ukraine’s increased presence there.
On November 21, the Russian Foreign Ministry warned Kiev against attempts to revise the status of the Sea of Azov.
