“Haftar and his military leaders rightly expect to take control of Tripoli within 48 hours,” he said.
The interlocutor noted that the only thing that could hinder the implementation of this scenario is external intervention.
“But so far, the superiority of Haftar’s military power cannot be challenged,” he concluded.
Earlier it was reported that Haftar ordered the army to launch an attack on Tripoli, which is currently under the control of the government of national consent.
