Macron announced plans to reconstruct Notre Dame in five years

He said this during a televised speech.

"We will restore (cathedral. - RT ) over the next five years," said the French president.

Earlier, the Paris Prosecutor’s Office stated that the fire at Notre Dame was not intentional.

A major fire in Notre Dame Cathedral began on the evening of April 15th. The spire collapsed, the bearing structure was enveloped in flame.
