At the end of the government seminar on Monday, Prime Minister Philippe Philippe clarified the adjustments of the legislative calendar concerning the pensions, the income tax or the bioethics law.

The head of state wants to go quickly to include on the agenda the new projects he listed during his post-major debate press conference. On Monday, the government met around the prime minister to thoroughly review the reform agenda. At the exit, Édouard Philippe gave several deadlines.

Declining income tax: the terms set for June

The government will present in June the terms of the income tax reduction promised by Emmanuel Macron at the end of the great debate, said Édouard Philippe. To finance this decline, estimated at 5 billion euros, the Prime Minister confirmed that some tax loopholes for companies would be removed, without affecting the research tax credit or the reduction of charges for businesses that corresponds to the former CICE.

Retreats: a bill ready "at the end of the summer"

Édouard Philippe announced that he was awaiting the report on the pension reform for the month of July. A bill will be ready "at the end of the summer," he promised.

PMA: bioethics bill presented in July

The draft law on bioethics, which must include the opening of medically assisted procreation to lesbian couples, will be presented to the Council of Ministers in July. "It is in July that we will present in the Council of Ministers the bioethics bill we have committed to," said the Prime Minister.

Fight against tax fraud: the proposals of the Court of Auditors in October

The Court of Auditors' proposals to combat tax fraud are expected by the government in October. "We will ask the Court of Auditors to make specific proposals to us. (...) They will have to be delivered in October, which will allow us to integrate these proposals in the financial texts to Parliament which will be presented in the autumn", said the prime minister.

Employment: the "mobilization" begins on May 6

"I will launch early next week, next Monday, the national and territorial mobilization for employment and transitions that evoked the President of the Republic," Thursday evening at its press conference, said the Prime Minister the press. "It is a question of bringing together all the actors concerned (...) to think collectively at the national level, then locally at the territorial level to the way in which we can collectively mobilize ourselves to reach the ambitious objectives in the return to full employment and in terms of accompanying ecological transitions, "he said.
