Kostinsky added that in 2018, Ukrainian television content on nationwide TV channels is 79%, content from EU countries, the USA and Canada - 14%, and Russian dropped to a historical minimum - 7%.

Earlier, deputies of the Volyn region voted to ban the "Russian-speaking cultural product" in the region.

On December 7, the authorities of the Ivano-Frankivsk region in Ukraine adopted a moratorium on "the public use of the Russian-language cultural product."

The same decision was made in the Ternopil, Zhytomyr and Lviv regions.
