It is noted that the acting head physician of the medical institution and the head of the surgical department were sentenced to two years of imprisonment with a probation period of one year.
The anesthesiologist-resuscitator imposed a punishment in the form of a restriction of liberty of 1.5 years, with deprivation of the right to engage in medical practice.
The court also satisfied the claim of the boy’s parents for moral damages amounting to 1 million rubles.
