“Of course, he wants to return to the administration, as well as to remain an influential politician. Poroshenko thinks that this is possible through good results for him in the elections to the Supreme Council of Ukraine. But I do not think that he adequately assesses the situation in the country. He has few chances to get a serious and influential faction, even if now someone shows him support, ”the senator believes.
Tsekov also noted that the president’s words about the next elections and returning to the administration after them "sound doubtful."
“The citizens of Ukraine will not forget the years of Poroshenko’s rule, when the country was in an extremely difficult economic and social situation. They will not forget the incredible corruption, a very low standard of living, ”he said.
In his opinion, Poroshenko has no chance.
