According to the agency, in January 2019, the Central Bank of most eurozone countries stopped issuing banknotes of such dignity.
In this case, the Central Bank of Germany and Austria by special permission could continue to print such banknotes until April 26.
It clarifies that the banknotes can continue to be used as a means of payment, however, if they hit the state banks, they will be removed from circulation.
