Such a statement was made on the air of Estonian television and radio by the acting foreign minister of this country, Sven Mikser.

“It is clear that this will not lead to breakthroughs in bilateral relations, since our relations are largely determined by Russia's behavior in world politics as a whole,” the TASS diplomat quotes.

At the same time, Mikser spoke positively about the fact of the talks between the two leaders in Moscow, however, he spoke in favor of a “cautious line in contacts with Russia”.

Earlier in Lithuania, Estonia was advised to continue to report contacts with Russia.

On April 18, the President of Estonia visited Moscow. Kaljulaid said that Tallinn is ready for a dialogue with Moscow.

As Vladimir Putin stressed at the talks, the parties have common interests associated with the Baltic region.
