At the same time, Zerkal suggested that this could be “a change in Russian tactics or a simple desire to delay the consultation process.”

She also stated that “this did not affect the positions of the parties” on this issue.

Earlier, a court in Moscow extended the arrest of 24 sailors detained in the Kerch Strait.

Ukrainian sailors were detained on November 25, 2018 after three Ukrainian navy ships illegally crossed the Russian border in the Kerch Strait area.
